New Group Rides
2 new winter evening group rides have been organised by some riders who attend the fast group on a Sunday. The first ride will leave the Spread Eagle in Rolleston shortly after 7pm on Tuesdays. The 2nd will leave the railway bridge at Drakelow (on the Stapenhill Road, with the junction to the road to Walton and not now Rosliston Forestry Centre) shortly after 6.30pm (NEW TIME) on Thursdays. The distance will be around 30 miles and will last an 1.25 hours to 1.5 hours. The pace will be steady but around 19mph. Lights both front and rear are a must as well as mudguards and bright reflective clothing as the ride will be on unlit roads. If bad weather the rides will almost certainly be off.
