Elliot Waters wins two Road Races on the Yarborough School circuit at Lincoln & Evening Time Trial cut short due to temporary traffic lights
At Yarborough School in Lincoln it was the turn of six year old Elliot Waters to win his first road race. In fact he won twice in the under 8 races. The first was the 12 lap handicap & the second was the 15 lap scratch race. His brother Bailey finished 2nd in the 15 lap under 10's race. Won by Scott Hookaway (Sherwood CC). Joshua Waters was placed 8th in the under 12's. There was only 10 yards between the leading 12 riders. The winner was Reece Wood (Wakefield Junior Triathlon Club.

Peter Rose in his first open event for 2009 timed 31 36 in the Midlands Veterans 10 mile Time Trial at Princethorpe in Warwickshire (just 36 seconds out on his age standard time). The winner was Richard Bradley (Shorter Rochford RT) in 20 12.

David Clarke finished in 30th place in the Girvan Premier 4 stage Cycle Race in Scotland over the Easter holiday riding for the Southern Challengers Team. The winner was Polish rider Marcin Bialoblocki (Team E12).

Due to temporary traffic lights near Bell Lane on the Anslow circuit, the scheduled 10 mile time trial was reduced to 4.5 miles with 20 riders competing. David Clark (Pendragon/Kalas) was the fastest in 10 44. The rest of the times were Sean Sleigh (Plan B) 11 10, Christian Aucote (Yeti Factory Racing) 11 16, Phil Jones 11 46, Daniel Partington (Plan B) 11 51, Simon Parker 12 35, Jeff Slinn 1249, Mick Scivington (Plan B) 12 50, Jack Hugill,12 52, Ben Startin 12 57, Mark Eccleston 13 15, Alec Taylor 13 16, Mark Ward 13 18, John Frowd (Derby Triathlon Club)13 16, Andrew Wendle 13 49, Colin Johnson 13 52, Keiron Patterson 14 25, James Allen (Plan B) 15 14, Andy Burton 15 25 & Peter Rose 17 05.
