Mercia Report 12-04-09

After the disappointment of a jammed back wheel at Darley Moor, denying him first place. Joshua Waters made up for it with his first win in the 10 kilometre race at Mallory Park for the under 12 boys, despite being under geared compared with the other competitors.

There was another good turn out of 26 riders for the second 5 mile evening time trial. In windy conditions Sean Sleigh (Plan B) was the fastest in 12 11. 2nd was David Clarke (Pendragon Kalas) 12 40, & 3rd fastest was Christian Aucote (Yeti Factory Racing) 12 45, 4th fastest was the first Mercia HBM rider Phil Machin 13 06.
